Going Out

Once the child gains an educational foundation of his world he will spontaneously want to explore it leading the child into “going out” of the Prepared Environment.  The child utilizes ideas and concepts learned in order to prepare opportunities to venture out into the larger society.  To prepare these types of opportunities the child must expand his self-mastery of subject matter in order to follow his own interests.  The Montessori Elementary Child becomes disciplined, self-motivated, and capable of good judgment.
